Have You Been Hacked? Are You Concerned?

There is a new javascript-makes-an-iframe attack going on.
This is where some hackers deface sites, adding javascript that makes an iframe; the iframe loads attack scripts
from other servers. This latest attack is hosted on a server in kazakhstan (rnw.kz).
Guess what? Some of us are fed up with the hackers, and the impact it has on innocent webmasters. Those things can
get you banned here (temporarily), and get you in trouble with traffic exchanges, and worst of all, Google can
‘flag’ your site as an attack site.
While we can’t reliably prevent hacking (every server is different, with different holes), We can pretty reliably
detect it, and have a neat tool that can ‘un-hack’ a site. What used to take 2-3 hours (hand-editing a few hundred
messed up pages) now takes under 10 minutes.
So we got an idea…
We’d like to announce the start of Site Scanner, and it’s free to join (at least during startup).
We already have a cleanup tool, and before this coming weekend, it will be available at the site as a web-based
tool. Once a problem is found, you can run the program and clean up your server quickly and easily.
And yes, it has a referral system built in, offering 15 to 60 percent commissions on direct referrals.
